MFR56 machine gun developed by Turkish engineers at IDEF 2023 International Defense Industry Fair.

The MFR56, the world's lightest machine gun, produced by System Defense, which is completely domestic and national, increases Turkey's defense industry power.

In fields and settlements that restrict the movement and maneuverability of security units, the MFR56 turns the disadvantages of the field into advantages for the user with its dimensions, weight and functions.
The weapon has passed all NATO standard tests and is exported to 28 countries.

The MFR56 Ultra Light machine gun in 56x5.56mm caliber is available with conventional and ribbon magazines. The weapon has a 14.5" cold forged barrel with a chrome-plated inner coating, ensuring optimum service life. The "Quick Change Barrel" system is available for quick barrel change and continuous operational capability. Semi-automatic and automatic modes and short stroke piston operation ensure good firing efficiency in all environments.
